Harry Potter Theme Parker Opening Info

Spring break 2010 has arrived and passed for some students, but the opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park in Orlando, FL has yet to happen.

Good news though. Harry Potter’s Wizarding World should have more information for fans on March 25, according to OrlandoSentinel.com. At this time be sure to check out universalorlando.com/harrypotter at noon for more details.

Rumors have arisen that Harry Potter’s Wizarding World will now be open on May 28, 2010.

Harry Potter 7 in 3D

The video dosen’t really start till 15 seconds in, but it makes “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” look like a must see movie!

Five Harry Potter movies released within the past nine years.  The most exciting news about “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” is that Warners is thinking about making it 3D.  As reported by Reuters, Warners will be making the official decision in the next few days.

Favorite Scene in 3D

The end of the movie will be my favorite part.  Watching all the spells cast out in front of you as though wizards were battling right there will be an extreme rush.

Not Wanted in 3D

I don’t want to see the Dementors, which are the guards of Azkaban and destroy everything in which is happy.  Dementors in 3D would do a really good job at keeping little children up at night.

Who’s excited for the midnight showing!?!?

Rent a Home for Vacation

Finding a place to stay for vacation is overwhelming because of the large amount of choices.  To help I have taken the liberty of looking up places other than hotels. An alternative to staying at a hotels is to rent a house.  This works best when a few families stay together.

Finding a Rental Home

AllStar Vacation Homes for Orlando, Florida compiles multiple rental homes into a large database, which makes searching for a place simple.  All people have to do is click on the tab Find Your Vacation Home, then put in their personal preferences.

Vacation Rentals website allows people to look for places all over America.  The Find a Rental tab leads people to a map of the U.S. There people can click on the state they are looking to rent.  Additionally,  people can find places to rent all over the world.

  • Africa
  • Asia
  • Central America

Things I hope to See in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

The seven-book set of Harry Potter books autographed by author J.K. Rowling are seen at the National Braille Press in Boston, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007. (AP Photo/Bizuayehu Tesfaye)

I read all the Harry Potter books, I went to all the Harry Potter movies and next I will visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  Here I have compiled some things that I hope to find in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter during spring break 2010.

The Wesley Home

Harry Potter’s second home the Wesley’s house.  Mr. and Mrs. Wesley treat him as their own child.  I would feel as if I were in a dream touring through the multiple floor wizard home, which features altered muggle’s gadgets.  My fascination with wizarding items is comparable to Mr. Wesley’s fascination with muggel gadgets.   A rollercoaster through the house would be perfect.  They could shape the coaster vehicles like the flying car.

Cheap Spring Break Vactions

Spring break is a pricey experience sometimes.  However, spending a lot on a college budget is not ideal.  As my roommate and I have been looking for a good spring break package I thought it would cool to report some of the less expensive yet still fun vacations.

Cruises, see 3 places in one week

Carnival Cruise lines offers a West Caribbean vacation starting in Miami, FL traveling to Key West, FL; Cozumel, Mexico and then back to Miami.  This vacation without taxes starts around $274.  This includes food, but not beverages while on the boat.  You can buy a hotel separately , or you can find the nearest campground where you can pitch a tent.  In Florida it always seems warmer than Chicago so camping shouldn’t be that risky, right?

  • Price starting at $274
